Throughout the book, every term is clearly defined and every theorem lucidly and thoroughly analyzed, and there is an admirable balance between the theory of differential equations and their application.

I didn’t get anc the entire book, instead focusing on the second order ODEs, from the Method of Undetermined Coefficients to Variation of Parameters to Reduction or Order, and then covering some physical models using second order ODEs, like spring systems, pendulums, chains, beams, RLC circuits, and rotational systems. If you’re having a hard time in class I’d definitely recommend this book.
